The third ‘Great Stamford Brush-Off!’ took place on September 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
The weather was glorious ideal for painting en plein air in Stamford with fellow members of the Welland Valley Art Society.
"We decided to go with the idea of working whilst the Georgian Festival was on, so we ran it over the three days of 22nd/23rd/24th September. It was interesting to have a market day in the schedule. Participants choose when they took part, but we encouraged at least two of the three days"
Here are some of the photos from the day with thanks to Harry Hamill
for the photos of his sketches and his models.
Thank you to Sarah Jennings for the photos of the resulting exhibition in the Anteroom of the Arts Centre.
