Ken Forrest
I started painting in watercolour 30 years ago and have never got to the end of it. To me, a self-taught painter, its possibilities seem endless, and the beauty of the medium never fails to surprise, frustrate and inspire me. I taught watercolour for a dozen years but now continue more slowly on my journey, with sketches and photos of the British countryside as my main subject matter. I like to think my figurative approach carries on in the foothills of the English watercolour tradition.
